Second Visit

The second visit is best scheduled within a few days of the initial consultation.

At this visit the response to the first treatment is assessed which helps in determining the appropriate care plan and givesa better indication of likely treatment time frames.

Further treatment is carried out with any necessary refinements made and any questions arising are discussed.

A more detailed explanation of the diagnosis is often provided at this stage as the response to treatment is a valuable diagnostic tool that is combined with the previous examination results to give a better understanding of the underlying causes of the problem.

Detailed exercise prescriptions are not utilised at this point as research shows that a better result is achieved if spinal function is improved before undertaking specific exercises.  These are usually prescribed after four to six treatments.
