Dr John Evans and Dr Scott Thompson are Principals of Southcoast Chiropractic Clinic, Southport, Gold Coast.  Both John and Scott trained at Macquarie University, NSW, graduating in 1994 and have many years of Chiropractic Experience.

Dr Scott Thompson joined Southcoast Chiropractic in 1997 after working in Toowoomba, Grafton and the UK. Scott regularly attends both technique and educational seminars and enjoys keeping up to date with developments within the health industry.  His 30 years of experience and continual education have equiped him with the knowledge and skills to treat a wide variety of conditions and individuals.  Scott enjoys camping, bushwalking and water sports with his wife and two adult children.

Dr John Evans has also worked in Hong Kong and the UK.  John is a family orientated practitioner and enjoys looking after people of all ages.  John enjoys staying up to date with current research and has an interest in nutrition and chiropractic neurology. With over twenty years of experience John has a wide variety of techniques to call on to suit individual cases.  He has also completed further study on low level laser and has been impressed with the clinical results achieved with this new modality.  He has a daughter at University and a son at High School, who, along with John and his wife Melissa, enjoy a healthy active lifestyle.

 

Dr Sam Batchelar  Osteopath

Sam’s lifelong passion has been health and fitness. She has dedicated her working life to helping others be the best version of themselves.

As a Practitioner, Sam invests wholeheartedly in the wellness of her patients. She strongly believes that ‘applied knowledge’ is power, and she strives to not only utilise her own expertise, but to also provide her patients with all the available tools to empower them in their recovery to improved health and function.
Sam has a Masters Degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Southern Cross University & her other qualifications include Diploma of Remedial Massage, Dry Needling, Personal Trainer, Biomechanics and Certificate in Exercise for Older Populations.
Downtime usually includes coffee with friends, going to the gym or reading a good book.
